I like to supplement greens powder mixed in a protein shake for nutritional benefits. Well it's also kinda to compensate for lack of vegetables in my diet - I'm a bit lazy in that regard. The greens powder product I take contains: wheat grass, barley grass, spinach, spirulina, kale, chlorella and nettle. I take one tablespoon once or twice a day.
Those dried greens are highly nutritious so in a way it's food in a compressed form. I wonder what other "superfoods" are there that I could perhaps add to my diet?
I know Maca is besides being an effective adaptogen a great source of minerals and vitamins. I used to snack Goji berries which I believe have impressive antioxidant properties. There are also "reds powders" sold which are basically different dried and powdered berries - perhaps another convenient way to support healthy nutrition.
Of course the basis of nutrition should be in tact, one can't just eat junk food and take a bit of spirulina to be considered on a healthy track. But these superfoods can be a handy way to complement a moderately healthy diet.
