Yeah, I have read that Wellbutrin's honey-moon effects come back at the 6-8 week mark, but this time I feel like the effects were not very strong. In the past, Wellbutrin had a great positive effect in the first 2 weeks, but this time the effects were very subtle. Also, my memory started to become very poor around the 2 week mark which is strange since I've never had this happen in the past. Every time I started it, the memory side effects were only present in the first 3 days and it wasn't very detrimental either, just some forgetfulness here and there. But this time around it felt like I had brain-fog and couldn't remember many things, it was much more than simply forgetfulness. And for whatever reason, my cognition also took a hit and felt dumbed-down, simple math problems like 5+7 were difficult to solve.
I should note that I was taking Wellbutrin XL 150 mg pills that were dispensed in April 2012. As far as I'm concerned, drugs can last 10 years before they expire, but since Wellbutrin XL is a time-released version it's possible that the drug bupropion was not released in a stable manner, or if all 100% of it was released.
So I've decided to stop taking it. I last took it Friday, January 23.
Regarding exercise, I think I may have been over-training.
Tianeptine is an interesting drug, I'll look into it. What benefits has it given you?
